Warzone contracts explained (and which to do)

Contracts are optional objectives you pick up on the map. Used well, they fund your loadout drop and give you a head start. Here's how to use them.

What is a contract?

A short mission you activate on the map (ground icon). Once completed, it rewards a mix of cash, gear and sometimes information (next circle location). It's the economic engine of the early game.

The main types

• Scavenger / Resupply — collect crates: easy cash, ideal early.
• Recon — capture a point to reveal the next circle: a huge positioning edge.
• Bounty — hunt a marked enemy player: risky but well paid.
• Most Wanted — mark yourself as the lobby's target for a big reward: for the confident only.

Why do them?

1. Fund your loadout drop ASAP (priority #1, see our beginner guide).
2. Anticipate the circle via Recon to dodge the gas and take good positions.
3. Gear up without looting everything by hand.

Which to prioritize?

• Early game: Scavenger (cash) then Recon (circle info).
• In form and well-equipped? Bounty for XP and cash.
• Avoid Most Wanted if you're not sure you can hold: you become everyone's target.
