GTA 6: the map, activities and new features

A gigantic map

According to early analysis of the footage, the map is around three times the size of Red Dead Redemption 2's (treat it as an estimate: Rockstar gave no official figure). One visible new touch: the minimap shows buildings in 3D.

An ultra-reactive world

• A six-star wanted level (up from five).
• Improved NPC AI: the city reacts more believably to your actions.
• An in-game social media feed you can scroll (doomscrolling) from the phone.

A wealth of open-world activities

The Extended Look strings together pastimes and side content:

• Mini golf, kayaking, scuba diving, gym work, parachuting, a zoo visit…
• Plenty to fill Vice City and Leonida between jobs.

A photorealistic look

Photorealistic faces, very natural animations, and richly detailed locations: apartments, rooftop bars, dimly lit underground clubs.
