Best VST loadout Warzone (build + code)

The VST is no longer meta in Season 6: CODMunity ranks it B tier (contender) for close range, and the VMP, the MPC-25 and the REV-46 all rank ahead of it. If you like it and want to keep it, here's its best current build anyway. Page up to date as of October 7, 2026, based on the CODMunity ranking. Full ranking on our Warzone meta tool.

Which secondary?

The VST is pure close range: it needs reach. Pair it with the Voyak KT-3, the best assault rifle of Season 6 according to CODMunity (absolute meta): its build is in our meta tool. The AN-94, king of Season 5, has fallen to C tier: our AN-94 guide is still there if you're attached to it, but it's no longer meta.

When to run the VST?

• You already know it well and accept a demanding gun (EaseScore 6.1), off-meta.
• To stay meta up close, switch to the VMP (absolute meta, best SMG of Season 6) or the MPC-25 (A tier): their builds are in our meta tool.
• The other meta SMGs with a dedicated guide: the REV-46 (see our REV-46 guide) and the Ryden 45K (see our Ryden 45K guide).
